One must not confuse anxiety attack with generalized anxiety disorder. The anxiety attacks are actually panic attacks that abruptly appear, reach its peak within ten minutes and then subside. Apparent causes of the attacks are not always clear, although the first attack can be triggered by fear, stress and even exercises, while the subsequent attacks can be triggered by the memory of the first attack. Indeed, an anxiety attack is so devastating that it leaves the person apprehending another attack and such apprehensions actually bring about another attack and the cycle goes on and on.

The generalized anxiety disorder on the other hand, characterizes long lasting anxieties, not focused on any subject or situation. The person is constantly worried about something or the other, however mundane that may be. Phobias are different too. They include all cases in which fear or anxiety is triggered by a specific stimulus or by a specific situation. Agoraphobia represents fear of being trapped in a close space and the sufferer needs to be in constant view of a door or other escape route.

That is not all. There are other pathological fears too. Obsessive-compulsive disorder characterizes repetitive obsessions and compulsions such as washing hands or keeping the windows shut. Then there are post-traumatic stress disorder, separation anxiety, social anxiety etc. All these fears have been grouped under anxiety disorder because they have close connection with each other and can occur simultaneously in one person.

Charles Linden is one such person who suffered from panic attacks, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive disorder and agoraphobia simultaneously. He tried to get respite from his condition by various conventional means, but could not. Without giving up, he undertook a thorough research on the subject to find a way out and he did that. Today through Linden Method panic attacks, GAD, OCD, PTSD and phobias can be cured in a drug free way. Later he said, “The moment you think you are beaten, you are. The moment you decide that, you will not be beaten, you are on the path to victory.” Let that be your mantra too.

If you buy the Linden Method pack, you will get a 365-days guarantee. Unless it works, you will get full refund, though rest assured it is going to work and you will not be asking for refunds. Now, what does the Linden Method pack contain? It contains:
•The Linden Method Manual
•The 7 linden Method CDs
•The Linden Method DVD
•Free and unlimited counseling from qualified counselors and psychologists

There are other such programs too. Panic away is a book on panic attack written by Joe Barry McDonagh, another ex sufferer who did not give up when the conventional method failed. In his book, Joe Barry not only talked about eliminating anxiety attacks and generalized anxiety disorder, but of ways to bring down the anxiety level back to normal without the use of drugs or any other alternate therapies. He calls this ‘One Move technique’ and in his Panic Portal, he has talked about it vividly in layman’s language so that you and I can follow. There is no high flaunting words or phrases to follow. Everything is simple and clear-cut.

If this One Move Technique has put you off, wait. It is not hypnosis, nor is it any kind of Neuro-linguistic programming. To be frank, it is an advanced form of time tested cognitive behavioral therapy. Such therapies are combination of cognitive and behavioral therapy. Under cognitive therapy, your irrational thought process is channelized into a safe zone, while the behavioral therapy tries to control your irrational behavior. Joe Barry used this technique to remove the apprehension of a forthcoming attack to break the cycle of fear and in this way free the sufferer from panic attack for good.

Although there is no place for medication in Charles Linden and Joe Barry’s method, you can use some homeopathic medicines to help you to tackle these attacks while you are undergoing the treatments. PureCalm is one such medicine that comes as concentrated tincture and acts fast to promote calmness and soothe the tensed up nervous system in minutes. The medicines of the benzodiazepines group can also do that. However while these allopathic medicines are habit forming and may lead to abuse very soon, PureCalm is cent percent safe and what is more is totally non-addictive. You can take it on regular basis for an overall feeling of well-being or take it on as-is-required basis. Try it while you try others because whatever it will do, it will never harm you.

It is true that anxiety disorder is often accompanied by attention deficit hyperactive disorder and two of them together make life more miserable for the sufferer. The exact co-relation between the two entirely different disorders is not yet known, but researchers suspect that such disorders may coexist because of malfunctioning of certain chemical messengers in the brain. These are known as neurotransmitters and there are many types of them, each having a specific role to play. However, as they are all interconnected, failure of one affects the function of others. Without going into details, we can say that very often anxiety disorder are caused by the ADHD and in such a case the ADHD has to be cured to get respite from anxiety disorder.

That is why, if you have anxiety disorder, it often helps to look back to see if as a child you suffered from ADHD. If you did, there are chances that you still have it, but may be the symptoms are not so pronounced now. As you have grown older, you have unconsciously learnt to camouflage them. The disorder is there nonetheless. That however is beside the point. Let us now talk about the treatment procedure.

To combat ADHD psycho stimulants like Adderall or Vyvanse are often administered. Such medicines increase norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain, which in turn increases alertness, concentration and cognitive behavior and decreases fatigue. However, the aftereffects of these medicines in the long term or their effects at such tender age have not yet been ascertained properly. On the other hand, it is known that these medicines can be addictive and may give rise to other types of disorders by interfering with the neurotransmitter.

However, you can take up ADHD natural treatment procedure without fearing these addiction or adverse side effects as much for yourself as for your child. You can include certain herbs in the diet and take certain supplements to fulfill the deficiencies. However, this may not be feasible for a long time. Taking homeopathic and herbal medicines is more convenient. They come in the pill form or as tincture and many parents will vouch for them. Bright Spark and Focus are two such medicines. They can be taken simultaneously for better results.

While Bright Spark improves concentration and reduce impulsive behavior, Focus by improving the flow of oxygen and nutrients in the brain cells supports brain function including information processing and memory. It also helps to balance the mood and normal energy level. If however, you would like to keep your moods balanced in the time of pressure and stress, PureCalm is more suitable for the occasion. The same company that produces Bright Spark and Focus produces PureCalm. All these medications are 100% safe and non-addictive.

PureCalm comes in the form of concentrated tincture and therefore acts quickly to promote a calmed mood in minutes. Those who have regular anxiety attacks will do better if they keep the medication by their side all the while. Even if it cannot eliminate the anxiety attacks, it can at least make life better for you. In fact medicines can cure neither ADHD nor anxiety disorder, but they can keep the symptoms under control while you are taking therapies for complete eradication. If you are looking for alternate method of treatment, look for Linden Method UK on the web.

Linden Method UK is promoted by Charles Linden of UK. He has been suffering from different types of anxiety disorders since his childhood, but his condition became acute when he was twenty-three. With his wife Beth at his side, he tried different conventional and unconventional treatment procedures, but none could really help him. Finally, he decided to take it in his own hand and discovered a technique that uses the body’s own natural anxiety control centre to modify anxiety levels back down to a normal level.

Charles has a best seller called Stress Free In 30 Days to his credit too. Of course, not all anxiety disorder books1 are worth reading. However, Charles is different. As he writes from his own experience, it has its own benefit. The Times newspaper has added it to its ‘Must read’ lists and that is not without any reason.
•Firstly, it is very modestly priced and anybody and everybody can afford a paperback edition of the book.
•It is easy to read and easy to understand
•Each chapter focuses on a different stress relieving technique
•That makes it the most simple, structured and informative program available

Follow Charles to lead a stress free life.

You ought to read books on anxiety attacks even if you follow the conventional mode of treatment. The psychiatrist may not have time to explain everything in details. If there is something you want to know, a good book may provide the answer.

Anxiety attacks cannot be described by mere adjectives like disabling, upsetting, frightening or even life threatening. They are all these and at the same time, much more. During the span of the attack, the sufferers feel that they are going to die or become crazy. When the attack is over, they live in dread of another attack. Therefore, it is natural that their first priority is to find out how to stop anxiety attacks for good.

Theoretically, it is easy to stop these attacks. The psychiatrists generally use a two pronged strategy:
- Pharmaceutical – Medicines of the benzodiazepines group are generally used for rapid relief of symptoms, while antidepressants like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are prescribed for long-term relief.
- Physiotherapy – Mainly two schools of thoughts are followed. Some prefer cognitive behavior therapy and others have more faith on panic-focused psychodynamic psychotherapy. While the former tries to control the irrational behavior by channelizing the irrational thoughts into safe mode, the later goes deep into your psychic to expose the hidden fears and malfunctioning defense mechanism.

The above treatment procedure may run simultaneously. However, in many cases where the condition is not that acute, the psychiatrist depend more on the psychotherapy, life style changes and self help tricks to combat anxiety attacks. They know that the medications can at the most control the symptoms, but the real cure must come from within. However, psychotherapy requires many sittings and consequently a lot of time and money. Recovery also depends on the skill of the therapist and therefore it does not always work.

It did not work for Charles Linden either. He suffered for many years without any respite. What was unfortunate for him is lucky for many of us. He discovered a unique process that he later named the Linden Method and 130,000 recovered sufferers have testified for it. Through Linden Method anxiety can be eliminated in a very short period in a drug free way and what is more, you need not empty your bank account for that. Just buy the program once and get a full refund if you are not satisfied within one year. Moreover, the system boasts of a twenty-four hour support system and therefore you will never feel left out or on your own.

Joe Barry McDonagh is another such recovered sufferer who discovered his own method after failing to get help from mainstream medication and psychotherapy. He noted down his experience in a book form and named it Panic Away. Moreover, when he wrote the book, Joe Barry had you and me in his mind and so he had written it in an easy to understand format. No complicated term has been used to confuse your mind and to show off his knowledge.

He has not only described the symptoms in easy language, but has put in many real-life examples to prove his points too. He then goes on to explain what causes the anxiety attacks and how to stop them. Very concisely, he says that the anxiety attacks are caused by the fear of another anxiety attack. Each attack is so devastating that once it subsides, the sufferers get no relief at all, but are left more demoralized, apprehending more such attacks. A vicious circle is thus formed. One attack causes another attack and this goes on forever. Whoever wants to cure himself has to break this cycle of fear. Medicines can only keep the symptoms in control; they cannot help you to break it.

Charles Linden too has talked about it, but in a different language. In fact, all good books on anxiety attacks speak about the same loop and the need to break it. However, you ought to read such books even if you follow the conventional mode of treatment. The psychiatrist may not have time to explain everything in details and therefore if there is something you want to know, these books on anxiety may be able to provide the answer.

What is more, these books on anxiety with all their case histories tell you that you are not at all abnormal. There are thousands others suffering from the same ailments. It will help if you highlight the sentences or even paragraphs, which show a similarity to your condition and have the pages bookmarked. Always keep such books by your side and if you feel the panic rising inside, you can open the book start reading. It will make you feel much better and will help you to quell the fear before it becomes full-blown without the use of drugs. In the end, you will surly learn to master your fears and lead a normal life.

Of all the anxiety books, Panic Away, written by Barry Joe McDonagh, an ex-sufferer, is worth mentioning. In his Panic Portal, he has shown how to cure anxiety disorders for good using a ‘one move technique’. This is no tall claim, just reality.

Treating anxiety disorder does not always mean taking some allopathic medications that have more adverse effect than good or spending all your hard-earned money on psychotherapy without getting any results. Through natural treatments anxiety can be cured more safely as well as more effectively. Only you have to know how to do that. It is true that many anxiety-related sites make impossible claims; that their only interest is to make money for themselves. However, not all apparently impossible claims are rubbish. There are many genuine ones too.

Take the example of anxiety books that you find on the internet. They mostly make tall claims, but do not tell you much about their methods in their preface. You have to buy them to know what is in it and in the process, you may end up being cheated. The writers of such books do not have many options either. If they reveal all their techniques in the preface only, who is going to buy the book? Not me, for sure!

These books are generally written by ex-sufferers. These people had anxiety attacks on regular basis and suffered terribly for years before taking things in their own hands. Yes, they had undergone all types of conventional treatments too, but did not get relief from them. At the end, they started researching on different methods of treatments and the more persistent ones came up with a unique method that worked for them. Once they cured their own anxiety disorders, they decided to write down their experiences in the form of a book so that others may get benefit from it. May be one or two such books will turn out to be a fraud, but definitely not all.

Of all the anxiety books, Panic Away, written by Joe Barry McDonagh, himself an ex-sufferer, is worth mentioning. In his Panic Portal, he has shown how to cure anxiety disorders for good using a ‘one move technique’. Well, this is no tall claim. It is true that each panic attack leaves the patient apprehending more such attacks and these apprehensions give rise to more attacks, which in turn give rise to more apprehensions. It is indeed a vicious circle and one only has to break that cycle of fear to get rid of the anxiety attacks for good. It is indeed a ‘one move technique’!

Charles Linden is also another such name. He suffered simultaneously from panic attacks, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and agoraphobia and if you are suffering from one of these, you should realize how badly he had to suffer! However, he did not give up when traditional methods of treatment failed, but kept on looking for newer ways and the result is what we now call Linden Method. It is a drug free way to cure your anxiety disorder and though there is one year’s money back guarantee, you do not have to wait that long for results. You will start receiving the benefits from the very beginning.

As the technique is to break the cycle of fear, you do not really need medications to get rid of your anxiety attacks, but one has to agree medicinal help comes handy at times. Some excellent herbal and homeopathic medicines can relieve the effects of stress, worries and nervous tension if taken regularly. The Triple Complex Nerve Tonic prepared from bio-chemic ingredients like Ferrum Phos, Kali Phos and Mag Phos is one of them. The company’s own home page says that if taken regularly, it can

Relieve the effects of stress and worry

Reduce everyday nervous tension

Calm frazzled nerves and anxiety

Support a naturally balanced mood

Support systemic balance on a cellular level

PureCalm is another such medication. It is a homeopathic medicine sold in a highly concentrated tincture form. It acts fast and can bring about a calmed mood in minutes. Therefore, if you take it at the onset of the attack, it will stop the attack from becoming full blown and give you immediate relief.
Panic disorder sufferers are often advised to learn about various types of anxiety disorders besides assessing the intensity of their problem. Treating panic disorder therefore becomes an important need soon after the occurrence of such attacks on repeated intervals. Some people experience panic attacks occassionally while others face them repeatedly. Occasional stress or anxiety can be controlled easily without using medicines but psychiatric diagnosis is mandatory in the cases of panic attacks which occur on regular basis.

It is therefore very important to distinguish between occasional panic attacks occuring from some sort of panic disorder and regular attacks occuring on lesser frequencies which are reasons behind persistent fear or worries. One must take precautionary step in treating panic disorders. Late teens and early adults are commonest of such sufferers. This is the age when extremely careful approach is needed for grooming personalities with all sensibilities. But this age group is not a demarcation. Anyone of any age group may become victim of this problem.

One can reclaim normal life easily through properly managing the lifestyle. Panic disorders go away when treatments are done sincerely. Restoring inner balance is most important factor in this regard which you acheive easily through treating panic disorder on systematic manner by applying medicines or taking therapeutic assitance. Sufferers should be made aware of the fact that panic disorders are not those things which you are to be welcomed. A person suffering from such disorders should remain particular in taking first and foremost step to attain excellent professional help through treating panic dicorder timely.

Professional help can be taken from healthcare professionals like doctors or psychologists. Doctors evaluate detailed history of the case by checking symptoms minutely soon after they are being consulted for treatment. Most often doctors brief about numerous realities associated with the symptoms such as when they might have possibly happened and how they grew over the period. These symptoms keep manifesting in case disorders are left untreated. Doctors explain about other intricacies as well which are associated with panic disorders. Further possibilities are explored for timely treatment.

You can make judicious opinion soon after your disorder gets diagnosed and you are about to go for treatment in your next step. Treating panic disorder is important but learning best and suitable treatment options are equally important to learn. Do best research and find out the possible treatment options which are affordable and suitable for you before zeroing upon any one such treatment. Know about the symptoms of panic attack in prior to make your treatment smoother. Many physical symptoms like pounding heart and increased pulse; excessive sweating; trembling or shaking; choking feeling; chest pain or discomfort; nausea; breathlessness; dizziness and feeling unreality or detachment should be known deeply before starting any type of treatment procedure.

As panic disorder directly affects one’s personality once they occur proper medications for panic disorder become major concern which are helpful in controling associated problems including feeling of losing control like going mad, having hot flushes or fear of dying amongst others. Whatever option you choose for your treatment you can go ahead with them because there is plenty of choices available today. There are many medicines available which control panic disorders. Common medicines used to treat this disorder have been broadly categorized into anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications. The first one helps in relieving symptoms and providing best possible relaxing atmosphere.

You must be aware of using the above mentioned medicines which doctors prescribe for you. Usually such medicines are taken for particular time period. But they would make you a bit sleepy though. It is not advisable to drive car or operate machinery items while undergoing treatment by using these medicines because it has lots of side effects as well which one must know and care for that in the treatment.

On the other hands while prescribing antidepressant medicines doctors analyse the condition of patient and applies it to control anxiety. These medicines can be given even in those cases when patients have still not gone into depression to prevent future complications. Medications for panic disorder, particularly antidepressant medicines help patients to balancing brain chemicals besides keeping control over this chronic disorder.

How would you know if you are experiencing a panic attack? Though the symptoms vary slightly among people, there are common signs that most sufferers experience and knowing these common symptoms can help you in treating this illness with proper medication and treatment.

There are common signs that you are experiencing anxiety or panic attacks. If in the event you have experienced tightening of your chest, and found it hard to breathe to the point of fearing tat you may eventually stop breathing in one go? This is one of the common signs. Have you found yourself in the hospital and was diagnosed with heart attack when in fact after tests you were told that you experienced intense anxiety? When you have a panic attack, you will also have the inability of handling anxious and unwanted thoughts and you will be constantly afraid of losing control and feel disconnected from everything that is going around you. Another common symptom is the feeling of nervousness and on the edge when you encounter normal everyday events that before this never bothered you.

These are the common signs that are associated with panic attacks and your doctor will probably ask you if you have experienced any of these symptoms. Anxiety attacks are pretty scary and it can even paralyze the sufferer when it strikes causing further complications. Because of the dire effects of panic attacks, it should not be left untreated as it can dominate your life.

Anxiety attack is the state of being in severe and constant fear and panic. In this case, a person who has anxiety attacks often experience a sense and loss of control and being scared. Physical signs include shivering, rapid heart beats and sweating. Blood pressure can also increase at this time. Because of the overwhelming and numerous signs that happen in one go, it can ultimately lead to death. Most attacks last for about 5 to 30 minutes, while some can last longer.

Panic attacks are generally defined as the body’s reaction to especially when it comes to stressful situations, or the triggering of the “fight or flight” mechanism. In most cases, the reaction triggers in the patient at the appropriate moments in times of high stress and for small number of them, this reaction develops randomly, at inappropriate moments and even at the slightest signs of stress and this is known as panic disorder.

No worries though because as scary as this illness may sound, there is a cure for it and that involves anxiety attack medication and the right and proper treatment to help the sufferer cope with stress, deal with pressures and avoid having future attacks. Most of the anxiety and panic attack medication involves self help, therapy, emotion management techniques as well as prescribed medication. While medication for anxiety attacks can be gradually decreased over time as the symptoms go down, treatment and self help therapy is encouraged to be continued as it not only benefits in reducing attacks, it also benefits the overall health of your body which could be a result of why your attacks happen. A happy and healthy body promotes a healthy and happy mind, which makes it less prone to depression and sadness, anxiety and fear.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is often the most common types of therapies given to a sufferer of anxiety attacks. Carried out by trained therapists, CBT is a form of psychotherapy that involves assessing the reasoning behind a patient’s thinking. This is based on the idea that abnormal thinking is a direct result of abnormal reactions. The goal of this therapy is to change this abnormal behavior and is often a form of treatment that provides long term benefits. Anxiety cures such as benzodiazepine tablets help give the sufferer short term relief due to stress related anxieties.

It takes a considerable amount of time to overcome panic disorders and it also depends on the severity of the case. Normally, medication is continues for a year or longer and then decreased gradually over several weeks. In some cases, panic attacks tend to occur after medication is stopped; hence doctors will continue the medication for a few more months for you just so that you can keep the symptoms under control.

Medication is often the last option for any medical practitioners as they would advice and recommend patients to seek for therapy and self-relaxation techniques first. Anti depressants and other forms of anxiety medication are highly addictive and to avoid a patient being depended on it, these drugs are given by prescription only and at the recommended dosages. To help cope with panic attack and stress, patients are advised to join in a cause or hobby that they are passionate about. Group therapy is also highly recommended as it helps patients to talk their feelings out and share with one another as well as help other people overcome their problems.

Did you know that anxiety can be caused by stress? If that’s the case, you do not need to consult a medical professional right away. Find out how you can help yourself in managing anxiety, and when to seek help when anxiety’s out of your control.

All of us have, in one way or another, experienced anxiety. It might have happened before your big piano recital or before your first date. Anxiety is a normal body response, but once it becomes excessive and regular, like you cannot do the things that you are supposed to do anymore, you should consider getting anxiety help from professionals. This might not be normal anxiety anymore, but already a form of anxiety disorder.

How would you know that you should already consult a professional for help with anxiety? First of all, you have to be aware of the signs and symptoms of an anxiety disorder. There are six types of anxiety disorders–generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and social anxiety disorder. Take note that anxiety disorders, though mainly psychological, can also have physical symptoms, which can be potentially life-threatening at times. Here are the general symptoms of anxiety disorders:
• Strong feeling of apprehension
• Difficulty in concentrating
• Feeling tense
• Irritability
• Restlessness
• Feeling of impending doom
• Difficulty in thinking rational thoughts
• Excessive sweating
• Increased heart rate
• Stomach upset
• Diarrhea or frequent urination
• Difficulty of breathing
• Muscle tension
• Fatigue
• Tremors

If you are experiencing these symptoms for a long period of time, then that might be the cue for you to seek for anxiety help. However, you do not need to consult a psychiatrist right away, since there are also ways in which you can help yourself deal with anxiety.

First, you have to know the cause of your anxiety. It does not necessarily follow that if you are a worrywart, you already have an anxiety disorder. On the contrary, you might be constantly anxious because of too much stress in your life. A very demanding schedule, lack of proper sleep, academic and work pressures, too much caffeine in the diet–all of these can cause anxiety. Identifying these as the causes of your anxiety can greatly help you in managing your anxiety symptoms. Maybe you do not need to consult a psychiatrist at all; you just have to modify your current lifestyle.

Make sure that you are able to devote time for relaxation and recreation activities. Simply spending some time with family and friends can get you out of your hectic schedule every now and then, so that the stresses of work do not strain you. Also, take care of your body by having the proper exercise and eating the right diet. Don’t overload yourself with too much caffeine, for this increases the sympathetic response of your body to stress, making you feel jittery. Do not accept responsibilities that you cannot handle; asking help when you have had too much work seems to be a better idea. Delegating work to others and learning to say no to some jobs that you can turn down are not bad ideas either.

If these are not the causes of your anxiety, then you might want to get professional help with anxiety from other people. Start by getting a medical check-up to rule out possible physiological causes. Anxiety can be a symptom of some underlying medical condition, like asthma, hyperthyroidism, or hypoglycemia. Your doctor also needs to know about the medications that you are already taking, since these may also cause anxiety. Once your doctor establishes that anxiety is not related to any medical condition, then that is the time that you should consult a psychiatrist or therapist.

There are two treatment options for anxiety–undergoing therapy or taking anxiety medication. Two examples of therapies include the cognitive behavioral therapy and the exposure therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is considered to be the most effective treatment option for anxiety. It involves focusing on irrational thoughts and behaviors and challenging them so as to decrease your anxiety. Exposure therapy, on the other hand, involves confronting your fears in a controlled environment. This is the best therapy for people who have phobic disorders.

One downside of anxiety therapies is that they may take a long time before you see some improvement. That is why taking the anxiety medication prescribed to you is another option you should consider, since this can help manage your symptoms. Anxiety medications come in different classes, most common of which are the benzodiazepines, or anti-anxiety drugs. Examples of benzodiazepines are diazepam or Valium, clonazepam, and lorazepam. These are fast-acting drugs, but they cause sedation. Benzodiazepines are the drugs of choice for people experiencing panic attacks. Other anti-anxiety medications include anti-depressants and beta-blockers.

Panic attacks can happen at any time. Thus, it is important for people to know when a panic attack is already occurring. There are telltale symptoms of a panic attack. A person with good knowledge about these symptoms can help a suffering person recover faster while giving moral and physical support.

Many people suffer from panic attacks. These are moments that are triggered by certain causes such as a phobia, a reaction to a drug, biological causes and many more. A person who is experiencing panic attacks should be treated at once to avoid any long-term injuries. However, not all people know the panic attack symptoms thus they are unable to help in these situations. It is best for everyone to have an understanding about panic attacks and its many symptoms since they can easily be spotted. Panic attacks can be mild or harsh thus those who can help are actually saving lives.

Before finding out about panic attack symptoms, one must first know the possible treatment of this disorder. There are natural cures for panic attacks which are used by many people suffering from this condition. Breathing through paper bags is one way to combat panic attacks. The condition can be caused by an imbalance between the oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body thus a paper bag breathing method can balance out the levels. Some herbal treatment can also be used to beat panic attacks. An example of a popular herb used in panic attacks is the Passion Flower. It can be used as a tea or it can be smoked before it is served to the patient.

There are physical panic attack symptoms which everyone should watch out for. People that experience sweating and chest pains can already be suffering from a panic attack. There is also the feeling of being lightheaded and stomach pains. Some people suffering from panic attacks also experience vertigo and shortness of breath. Others feel like they are being choked and have burning sensations in different parts of the body. A tingling spine can also be attributed as a symptom for panic attacks.

Panic attack symptoms can also come in a mental form. Those that experience irrational thoughts mixed with a loss of cognitive skills can already be having panic attacks. There is also the feeling of being detached with reality and some even have an internal dialogue. Extreme cases of panic attacks include symptoms of dread although nothing bad is actually happening. Some people even feel like everything is out of control. There are also those that think that they are about to die thus they are stricken with sudden panic. The vision can sometimes be affected in a person having panic attacks.

The emotions are definitely affected by panic attacks. The sudden fear of dying and the feeling of being scared can be attributed as panic attack symptoms. There is also the feeling of suddenly going crazy and a fear of failing. Panic attacks can also make the person think that he or she has some kind of serious illness which cannot be cured. It is best for people to calm the person down before applying any treatment for panic disorders, whether it is natural or medicinal. Those who suffer from a panic attack even have the feeling that their problems will never be cured thus they avoid any help from other people.

Tunnel vision can be attributed as part of panic attack symptoms. It is known as the loss of peripheral vision thus the person can only see a limited field at a given time. Those who suffer a panic attack can also be very sensitive to all disturbances around them. They may also feel like time can run faster or slower, depending on their perception. Some people who have a panic attack describe their feeling as if they are in a dream. Thus, the feeling of illusion can be seen in the person. There are even some people that feel like they have no free will thus they become stressed and then experience a panic attack.

The panic attack symptoms are not only seen by other people. It can also be felt by the suffering person. Therefore, they themselves have ways to counteract the feeling of dread. Others use positive statements to keep their thinking stable while others carry the medications on their pocket so that they can easily grab them once an attack occurs. Breathing properly is also a good technique to combat the panic attacks. This helps the muscles relax and allow blood to circulate freely without any clogging due to tensions in the body.

Find out what are panic disorders symptoms and how this disorder can take control of a person’s life. Inspire of rationalize yourself to get healed from this disease; you don’t have to live with it for the rest of your life.

Before you dismiss panic disorders as something not to be overly concerned with, this is a rather disabling disease to have. Some of the panic disorders symptoms are dizziness, nausea, increased heart-beat, breathlessness, pain in the chest, etc. In addition, a panic disorder may cause a person to worry, be depressed and even withdraw from social contact. A person exhibiting panic disorders symptoms will not have all the symptoms stated above, but a combination of these.

When you begin to imagine a person who lives with panic disorders symptoms, you can easily understood how disarming one becomes when an attack comes on. For the time being, one is powerless even over oneself, to the point of disabling. This can be so frightening and in some situations, rightfully so. The person who already has this disease probably used the imagination negatively in the first place. With this condition becoming a reality, this person is no better off and this person is actually living this vicious cycle that he or she has created.

This person soon learns of the disarming condition that he or she goes through whenever an attack comes on. Without the support of those who matter, this person starts to imagine all kinds of negative possibilities. One may subsequently be embarrassed, humiliated, etc., in accordance with the product of the imagination. This leads to fear of the next attack, which the person has no idea when it comes. Not surprisingly, this person becomes depressive and as a result of all this, start to withdraw socially. This may be an attempt to protect oneself, but certainly not an effective one in the long term.

Better seriously consider consulting a professional to undergo a prescribed treatment for panic disorders to heal this debilitating disease once and for all. Why let a disease gradually take over and ruin your life when you are not the only one with this disease, which means that treatment is at hand, as well as the qualified professionals to prescribe them. Why let this disease continue its course when you can and should take the initiative to put it under control?

In case you do have a panic attack, it is wise to know what you can do to make it better. The opposite of panic is calmness and that is what you must learn to do more of. Breathing deeply is an exercise that you can do anywhere and anytime. Relax yourself as much as you can, mentally and physically. You relax physically by loosening up your muscles. If talking to yourself helps, do it calmly. Remind yourself that everything is as it is and nothing bad is going to happen; after all, you are only having one of the attacks as usual.

When you start to think about it, why ever did you train your mind to feel panic when calmness is its natural state? You did not have to train it to feel panic; if a situation arises to trigger it as a mechanism of self defense, then panic is what you feel. It is so that you instinctively know what to do, without wasting time on thinking. A combination of a traumatic event and your imagination must have brought on what we term as panic disorders symptoms.

It may be hard to rationalize when you are experiencing panic disorders symptoms but now that you are fine, think about it. You have trained your mind to the point of habituating a feeling of panic, and now you get what you ‘want’; panic. And you don’t even know when it will come. How irrational is that? As irrational as you have made it out to be.

Why not be rational for once and think about how you can stop this nuisance that you have created. Do yourself a favor and get yourself treated by a qualified professional. Undergo treatment with a positive mind because what is the point of sabotaging yourself, again? Like you have never done it before. You want to get out of this mess and not continue to dwell on it until goodness knows when. There is nothing like feeling in charge and start taking the first step in the right direction. And the end of it would be a new you; without that cumbersome burden towing along, as it always has.

Find out what are anxiety attack symptoms and how they are triggered. Find out also how you can start leading a ‘normal life’. What should your attitude be while undergoing treatment? As well, what else should you know to facilitate a speedier recovery?

An anxiety attack is having an overwhelming feeling of fear for no rational reason. Anxiety attack symptoms are heavy sweating, chest pains, heart palpitations, dizziness, shakiness, breathlessness, nausea, numbness, chilliness. A person having an attack may have one or a combination of several symptoms. A normal person on the other hand, does not feel fearful for no reason in the first place. Even if he or she did, it would not be accompanied by anxiety attack symptoms. Not unless in a situation where there is a real reason for panic, such as in a fatal situation.

But then how does a person come to have anxiety attack symptoms? One may have a genetic predisposition or may have inherited this from a traumatic past. It may also be as a result from drug withdrawal.

Either way, you should know that these symptoms are triggered irrationally and that the average person does not experience this. Therefore, you should get professional help with anxiety disorder medication in order to undergo regular therapies until you are healed.

At any rate, it is not practical to live your life in this way, especially if the anxiety attack symptoms occur regularly. Such regular occurrence obviously affects your lifestyle and eventually takes a toll on your relationships whether you realize it or not. If you think that you are the only person experiencing this condition in your life, it is time that you realize that the people who surround you are also being affected.

The first step to any kind of healing is to know exactly what your problem is, which is anxiety attack in this case. When you have identified your problem, it is time to move on to the next step; treating anxiety disorders. It would be the best if you can get professional help. If you could help yourself, you probably would not be suffering this condition in the first place. Get help from a qualified professional whom you can trust.

And then you will be on a roll. Know that you are on the way to healing and that you will come out of it healed at the end of it all. Just like any other disease, you need to get the appropriate treatment and your responsibility is to follow the treatment prescribed. How difficult can this be? This may be a disease of the mind, and not the body, but it is a disease all the same. In fact, if you do not take care of a mental disease it may manifest into a physical illness sooner or later. Actually, most physical diseases originate from the mind.

Of course, it is good if you can get the support of those who matter to you. This really depends on your relationships with them, whether you have any disease or not. If you do have positive relationships, good for you. The moral support that you can get can serve as a motivation for you. It also makes it facing your disease that much easier.

If you do not have supportive relationships, however, do not dwell on it. After all, your recovery ultimately depends on you. Supportive relationships are just that; supportive. The answer to healing still lies within you.

Stay positive during your anxiety attack treatment. After all, you are not the only person in this world with anxiety attack symptoms; only that you will each need to work on yourself to get healed. You will be gradually healed and at the end of it, when you have become an ‘average’ person, you may even wonder how was it you got yourself into that kind of tangle in the first place. It must have taken a lot of effort, to get sick. Why did you not let it be and remain in your natural state of wellness, as most people did?

Instead you let your mind dwell in negative states habitually, until you get anxiety attacks without knowing why at all. How irrational is that? One thing sure leads to another, until you become so entangled that you cannot remember when, where or how it all started.

Right now, though, you wonder how you can be ‘normal’. It is not that hard, after all, wellness is your natural state of being. It is only the other side of disease. Start getting the appropriate treatment today.
