Thanks for sharing this
Thanks foyour video. I ve also suffered from panic attacks. I took medication for a short period of time and I think it s over, but sometimes I do feel some kind of breathshortness. Don t give up , you are an intelligent , good looking lady and I am sure you ll get rid of that medication soon. Greetings from Costa Rica and a hug. vinfa2006@gmail.com
ps….it looks kind of weird but if you feel the results that won't affect you. you can be skeptical and still have positive results ie you don't have to 'believe' in it
try looking up EFT (emotional freedom techniques) here on youtube, there are many good practioners. They will illustrate it for you. Betty Moore Hafter is one, Dr. Carol Look another, and Gary Craig from San Francisco is the founder. It is a kind of energy work that shifts your body towards balance so you feel better and calmer. Another easy method is z-point process by a fellow Canadian. Try it , its easy and let me know if it helps. best wishes
what is it?
try doing eft(emotional freedom techniques) , its easy and free if you do it for yourself, non invasive and drugless and usually works right away
Also. Another thing I have done many times when I feel that way. Get a drink of water, go outside and walk. Just walk even though you feel you cannot just walk…
yes too much caffeine does that. I have high blood pressure/angina so sometimes its harder to "decideE" is it anxiety or am I really going through something? I still keep antianxiety meds but only AS needed as I don't like to be comatose but being one who use to be a medication snob and was against it 10 years ago, I know that was just ignorance on my part when sometimes you need help
thank you. you are so right, making this video has helped me more being able to reach and related to other people. I'm thiniking of making one about depression perhaps gain insights from others through my own insight
TY for the vid. You 'not being able' to breathe is just pure anxiety. I have had that alot where I think I forgot to take a breathe blahblah. Really you are breathing fine and just think you cannot breathe(like your said). Also when you actually feel like "You cant breathe" is because your chest muscles are not relaxing and you are having a bit of trouble breathing. (I have had that happen) But you are actually breathing fine.
Don't stress about it too much lots of people have anxiety problems.
I love coffee, but cannot drink it because it gives me jitters and makes me nervous which then causes a panic attacks. If a room is stuffy I also get panic attacks triggered. I think I developed panic attacks after years of stopping my anti-depressants ( which I truly no longer need thanks goodness) but I jsut check my pulse alot and take a deep beath over and over and then find someone to talk to so I can forget about it. It then goes away and of course in extreme stress I get them alot
when i see its not only me… who suffer from such severe attacks… i feel this problem is ok….
its been years now and i have gone through many panic attacks…that i have almost become used to it….. my life is controlled by my anxious mind…..always …everytime and becomes worse sometimes…and i started feeling restlessness…
this problem is still driving me crazy….
take care…
Hey how you doing: I've started a series of videos on my channel about anxiety, panic attacks, chest pain etc. If you need reassurance, come see them. Links to articles, too.
I thank you, but I haven't said much about my life.
The good news is that I got rid of the pushers, the pot-smoking friends I had. I quit my job and moved away to get rid of a lot of drama. I wasn't in danger but I got rid of a lot of poison all at once.
I've been dope free since 2002 and I speak english and french: That could land me a pretty good job in Quebec. Only recently have I decided that maybe I'm worthy of that.
I've talked to family and friends. I have good people around me.
i wish i knew something to say that would help you with this as i know it is a terrible mind game we do on ourselves and so hard to come out of or deal with
You know, we're all in this together, dear.
We may not seek counseling but we all do have issues.
I just happen to know that anxiety is in my blood. I deal with it every day at work. I live alone because of anxiety.
It's a fact of life for me.
YOU have done some progress on this issue, I'm sure. You are not the same person you were a year ago.
There is hope in all this. Never give up.
thank you so much. i've thought of doing them on depression as well. for it seems people relate better when you can relate your own stories and to know one is not alone going through life with bad things and bad feelings happening.
thank you
God damn. This is such a good video.
I'd bet you're grown a lot since making this video.
Possibly because you made these videos.
All the power to you. I'm so proud of you.
amazing video, very easy to relate to your experience because of the coherent way you talk about panic attacks… thank you so much for sharing.
good luck with everything

thank you so much. its great people can relate. I'm glad you liked it
Your absolutely correct. Panic attacks feel horrible but are completely harmless. As you said, no one has ever died or been injured in any way as a result of a panic attack. I have suffered from panic attacks and extreme anxiety for 6 years and i'm physically the same person as I was before I had them. Cut out caffine completely, that helps ALOT.
thanks man i fell alot better
