*smiles*
I'm glad this could help.
How are you now?

spagerbot @ 5:05 pm #

Thanks. I was having an anxiety attack when I first tuned into this video, but it's nice to have someone you like talk you through it :) .

sithXrebel @ 5:37 pm #

id like to meet you, your too far :(

hopkins4545 @ 5:37 pm #

Seroquel is way too heavy for me, and it makes you gain weight like a mofo

theitjourney @ 5:47 pm #

Anxiety is really hard for a performer (theatre, band, speaking events). :/ I'm still trying to find my technique. Deep breathing is quite enough.

hauntedpark @ 5:58 pm #

Anyone with SA add me<3

CabbageKitty @ 6:29 pm #

Not really. It only happens once and a while when I feel as emotionally trapped as I possibly can. Maybe you've just had more experience and are better at controlling it than I am. If you did these things the first few times you had an anxiety attack, do you think you'd be able to make it stop?

zombiex988 @ 6:49 pm #

Is it just me or is anxiety and anything of that nature is really diffcult to talk about if your a guy? Because i know it is for me.

MrProcrasturbator @ 7:05 pm #

be careful you don't pass out and knock ur head

idranktheseawater @ 7:41 pm #

Prozac, Seroquel, and Ativan.

composer63 @ 8:22 pm #

what are all the meds you take?

idranktheseawater @ 9:02 pm #

No, I don't know.
Have you done research on it? Or gotten advice from someone in the medical field?

CabbageKitty @ 9:24 pm #

I've had tried this before, but it doesn't help me. Do you know what to do if you are hyperventilating and you can't stop no matter what? That's what happens to me, my body keeps forcing me to take gasps of air even though my lungs are already full and I can't make it stop.

MyselfandSA @ 9:55 pm #

Hey thanks Melissa, i've always seen people in movies 'n stuff taking deep breaths but i neva tried it coz i didn't believe it. but now that you (somebody real) says that it helps u, i'ma give it a try

Khunrath1 @ 10:57 pm #

Yep…the deep breathing certainly helps with the anxiety attacks…I suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder (on top of my Bi-Polar Affective Mood Disorder – yay, what a wonderful combination! Not!) and use that strategy all the time to relieve my anxiety…simple, but like you said, effective. Sometimes counting backwards from 100 works too. Really digging your vids, by the way. Keep up the good work! :)

i find reciting poetry inside my head helps me when i'm in public and feel an attack coming on. bit geeky, but it works for me.

reVerse2bfree @ 1:55 am #

Often its the simple, natural methods that work the best, just as you demonstrated. I'm going to make an effort to remember this breathing technique when I feel a panic attack coming on. Thank you for sharing.

lilzoza @ 2:45 am #

Im happy to see that you're doing better :D

MusettaVendetta @ 3:14 am #

I've started doing this recently, and it's def. helped with my cutting urges. Not always, but a lot. ^^
