@laxiemike Bragging rights? Try listening to bands like Brain Drill, or artists that can actually play bass. Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, some other white guy I saw, but forealz. The panic attack guy has nothing on real bassists.
@Rebootation
LOL, flamer. do better than him. you'll earn bragging rights
@vyrcoopm I've actually been playing bass for 2 years, i have 2 4 string basses, and an acoustic 6 string guitar, and 1 electric. I cover all types of music. but im ready to up the level of difficulty. and i'll defiantly look into that
thanks a lot
@MegaScreamingbanshee if you are new to bass guitar, you might consider starting with regular 4 string, but of course, it's your choice. you can still find some great basses from companies like yamaha, ibanez, cort, esp, shecter… just google it
my choice right now would be probably ESP D-6
what kind of bass is that????? i've been looking for a good 6 string. and i also need to learn how to PROPERLY play one
Nice camera!
awesome.
@srbija882muse "You have something you own?" > Yeah, I got this bass (Yamaha RBX375) and now also Washburn T25 Taurus
@vyrcoopm
I have this bass already 4 months! I think it is ok, serves as a progressive metal song, and for the record in the studio:)) You have something you own?
@srbija882muse well, it's pretty good bass for the price, but still, it's kind of a middle class guitar. I really love it, but if you have the money, go for something better
and find reviews on google for this one
@vyrcoopm
What you think about YamahaRBX 375???
@TheBassMan533 go and do better then him
People are freaking out about something as simple as this…? It's just triplets and decent-paced plucking, people. -.- Yes, great cover, not gonna lie. But I don't see what people see when they consider this 'hard' lol. Check out Victor Wooten or Marcus Miller (among dozens of others) and tell me this is hard. Great vid, but choose a harder song next time.
very sloppy.
some of the part isnt accurate in rhythm and the notes played=
great effort though^^
Dude, that is absolutley amazing. I wasnt expecting much, but then i started watching it more and i was like "What the hell am i watching???" That was very impressive dude, i enjoyed if very much. You any good at rockband?
Do the two things go together at all?
Cuz this song is pretty intence.
Great video, and I agree with Farrari guy below me. You deserve more views. When I read that, I hadn't even seen the view counter, and I was expecting somewhere around the tens of thousands. I then scrolled up, and my jaw dropped. What the FUCK?! only 800 views? Duude.
nice. but at some points it kind off looks like a Ibanez Soundgear Bass. that's what i am using
@ryoxas thanks
well, there are more ways to mute strings. with left hand, if you just release the string, which you held – lift the finger a bit in a way that it still touches the string; or just putting fingers over the string which you want to mute – this apply to both left and right hand…
it depends on what you play.. sometimes it may be even the combination of more techniques
This is amazing! I have a question… You can tell i suck just by this, but how do you mute the strings so fast? With what hand and what fingers? It bugs me so much when i move onto another string and the other string is still vibrating… Brilliant video (Y) x
@vyrcoopm
Holy shit, thats precisly why im faving this. for the hard work.
@31rS3RP3N7 thanks
shooting took about 3 hours, editing something about 5-6 hours
Dude, good playing but how klong did it take you to edit? its awesome man!!!
very nice you deserve more then the amount of views

@HyPn0TiCz1 hum lol i got some difficult to tell the tuning ok Bb Eb Ab Db Gb Bb ( For 6 String ) or A# D# G# C# F# A# ( same thing haha ) or with my 8 String F A# D# G# C# F# A# D# or ( F Bb Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb ) same thing hahaha
@PageJeremy Bb Eb Ab Db F Bb ;o
how long do u play guitar??????????
Where did you buy those triggerfingers? Awesome!
first 8 string guitar iver ever seen.. where do i get one like that 0.o
@PageJeremy
Awesome thanks for the help!!
@LaNinjette yes yes A#-D#-G#-C-F-A#
@PageJeremy Cool thanks.
So it's possible to play this song on a 6 string guitar right? Do you know which tuning I would have to use on a six string?
@LaNinjette yes it's a 8 string guitars
and im 1/2 lower F-A#-D#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D# for my 8 String
I have 2 questions:
So in this video you're playing on a 6 string? Cuz I see 8 tuning pegs so I was wondering….
And also which key do you have to tune your guitar to for this song?
its funny how u can just sit there throughout the whole 7 min song xD
dude you look like muse's bassist
Who was the 1 $!@&? Who disliked this?
Ur Shirt is so awesome dude!!!
@PageJeremy … awe shoot … you know what? Ignore that last comment … haha, I just clued in to the fact that you guys were talking about the actual guitar player for Dream Theatre, I at first thought you were talking about the guy in the video (PageJeremy, I'm assuming) .. my bad … sorry, I'm tired lol
@PageJeremy … sorry, but I'm pretty sure you're wrong, yes, it may be closer to a base, but this guitar has 8 strings, not 6, and if you need proof, look at the head of the guitar, 8 string keys… I'm not saying this to be a douche, but I just wanted to point out that you made a minor mistake, that's all
one people is a BITCH
@DreamTheaterization je-ne sais pas
Awsome
Hey I have that same shirt! I was at their concert with Iron Maiden in Vancouver
