@tomgunc

Keep in mind that this is the same Steven Hotze who is/was a fervent Huckabee supporter who helped bankroll the anti-gay attacks in 2009 against Annise Parker (wonder if he caused her anxiety much?), and who, in 1986, signed the Coalition on Revival's Manifesto for the Christian Church…. which basically equated disease as sin.

"How much did you spend on hormones in university?" "Uhhh, not much." Enough said.

I study and live anxiety/panic attacks. Hormones have very little to do with it. It's about fear of fear and our reaction to the thoughts and symptoms such as lightheadedness, dizziness, belching/burping due to swallowing air, very fast heartbeats (120 to 200bpm) sinus tachycardia, feelings of impending doom, feelings of going crazy or losing control.

@tomgunc – This show seemed to be geared towards women, however – I can't help but point out that guys have hormones that need to be balanced also. (i.e. testosterone). Low testosterone has been linked to anxiety in men.

This guy is a dumb ass. Hormones have very little to do with anxiety and panic attacks. How about men? How about someone who saw someone else die right before their very own eyes and started to freak out and started to think very negatively? How about someone who has a fast heartbeat and goes to the ER to get checked out. Does the ER doctor say, " Oh it's just your hormones being off balance. You can go home now that we figured that out." This guy should retire and not be such a retard.
