Again, Cloris Leachman steals this movie with help from Harvey Korman. She did it in Young Frankenstein. And the scene whre Dr. Thordyke has to explain his theories in front of the two little kids is classic Brooks. That opening scene was filmed right outside San Fransisco near Sasalito by the bay.
i love my mom for introducing me to mel brooks at a early age. hhaahhahah@mel brooks and all his movies. hes a comical genius. this movie neva gets old!
looking forward to seeing this again..am in nicaragua, and have to wait for download, so killing the time by saying thanks for making this available..there's nothing like Mel's flics. I can watch them over and over. I try to watch Blazing Saddles at least once a year

Hitch must have been pleased. I love how insane the music gets just as he walks through the exit — I don't know about you, but sometimes I DO feel like that when at an airport or some other horribly busy terminal or mall.

I love Mel, but I just don't buy him in this role.
I think he should have cast Gene again, he could pull off the Jimmy Stewart type Hitchcock lead better.
