I've been on Effexor since November 2010 til now and it made me go from agoraphobic to outgoing, happy and carefree. I can't tell you how much better it's made my life, I went back to college, I'm working again, and can drive without getting panic attacks! It seriously has turned my life around and I don't know what I would do without it. I hope it continues to work out great for you. Love your videos keep up the great work <3
I'm glad that I have someone that the same disorder I have meaning that I had anxiety since I was 12 years old and then it stopped then in the age of 15 it came back and as of right now at college I still have it at the moment and no I don't medication I somehow stop it jogging everyday. And yeah you don't need medication for it.
i take celexa and xanax for my anxiety & its helped a lot
I had anxiety and severe panic disorder since i was about 7 also. My panic disorder is so bad that I will randomly pass out from it. I was on meds for both, but it made me like a zombie so i stopped taking it. I still have both problems and they are still just as bad! I just wanted to share my story and let you know that your not alone and i know how you feel! Thank you for sharing this video!!!
ive had it sence i was a baby i came out my mom crying because i looked at myself in the mirror lol
damm your the most gorgeous girl that i know of with anxiety..this is the first video i have ever watched from you n all i can say is that your an amazing person and thanks for the advice you give to all the people..your awesome
I totally agree with you! I don't think that you should have to depend on med alone because if you do then you will never get to the root of the problem. Nice work!
i have anxiety problems. it runs in the family. sometimes i'll get so anxious that my heart will start beating super fast for no reason. i hate it lol. but i've lived with it for a while. so i'm used to it.
meant the medicine ruined me for 2 months, not the anxiety….id much rather have that
before anyone goes on effexor, please read up on it! the side effects are horrible, and weaning urself off that med was the worst time for me….unexplainable…so please be sure u wanna go that route! im glad it works for u chantal
i have anxiety and it ruined my mind and body for about 2 months of misery! id much rather be anxious
Chantal, your anxiety videos really inspired me, especially the one where you showed us an outing at a restaurant. I haven't been able to eat out in years, and after watching that video, I decided to try going out to dinner. I've been out 4 times since, and each time got easier. Just want to say thanks so much!
I started having anxiety when i was seven too
xanax woooooo wooooooo!!!! just kidding
I have anxiety too, I know how it feels. Honestly though, the whole world is filled with anxiety. Too much is going on and everyone is over stimulated all the time.
thank you for doing this video.
@Brie0013 Hope you don't mind me responding to your q,but I experienced the same! I'm in my last yr of uni, and I began suffering anxiety in first. I took time out to deal with it because it was so bad, but now I am back. I try to focus on the fact that I am in control. I can leave when I wish! Focus the energy into work and being the best that you can be. Achieving YOUR goals, and soon that ex will be a distant memory
Stay positive, it WILL get better! Hope that helps!
clean out the closet..
@xoRawBeautyxo With practice practice practice and positive thinking and keeping yourself busy, you can do it yourself!! But Chantilliscious it is actually better for you to stop acknowledging it and labeling yourself with it, so even though your reasons were different for not talking about it, this break from talking about it has been good for you. This is coming from experience with someone very close to me who has been dealing with the same thing for 10 years, and is finally getting better
When you suffer from anxiety, the best thing for you to do is to stop labeling yourself with "anxiety." It is a practiced thought/behavior, and practicing better thoughts will ultimately help you to get rid of it once and for all. It is not quick for everyone, and in fact it can affect people for years.
I LUV ALL UR VIDEOS MAKE SURE U KEEP ME POSTED I WILL COMMENT AND SHOW LUV I PROMISE~ BAPE TEAM !
I REALLY appreciate you making this Video Chantal. I had no idea you were on meds so thanks for sharing that with us and talking a bit about ur anxiety. I totally understand why you'd just want a break and give meds a try for once and it's really nice that you encourage us not jump on them right away =). I'm coping with anxiety all thru tips and tools thus far
