Great video is there anywhere I can find out more about this?
It is a good book, although people are put off from buying it because of the price. I have no control over this as it's down to the publishers. However, they are a charity and any profits go towards helping mental health sufferers, so that's no bad thing.
@hsttraindriver cool, sounds like a good book
wow, kudos to you for getting up and talking about this…i think more people need to understand this illness. i think society "thinks" they get it…like, they think "oh yea sure mental illness, yea psychotic people that need drugs and be locked away in a clinic". but no, its everyday people in society that can suffer from this everyday and the more awareness we create, the less people with anxiety issues (like me) will feel the need to hide it and suppress it and feel guilt and shame over it
Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
