Stress is just a result of the body’s reaction to anxiety. It is a normal mechanism to help people cope and adjust with his or her environment. First, practice deep breathing. This would require the person to take a deep breath and hold the breath for approximately six to eight seconds then slowly exhale. Repeat this process for several times until the person feels better. Even if the person is not under stress just practicing this method can greatly improve his or her chances at coping with a very stressful situation. Instead of reacting negatively to a stressful situation the person instead focuses on his or her deep breathing.
Another thing to do is try to meditate. When a person is caught in a very stressful just detach oneself from the stressor and go somewhere where it is quiet and peaceful. Stay in that place for a while until the symptoms of stress are gone. The persons cue would be if his or her heart beats normal again, the trembling or shaking is gone, no more sweating or dizziness.
The person can block out the stressful thoughts by thinking of persons or things that makes him or her happy. This includes the family, the child getting very good grades at school or the brand new car. The important thing here is that the person should concentrate on things he or she likes instead of focusing the attention on the stressors. After the person has recollected his reasoning and poise he can now deal with the situation.
These are just a few of the ways in overcoming panic attacks that every person can do. If done properly and efficiently there is no need to find anxiety attacks treatments. Teaching oneself how to control his or her emotions and body during a panic attacks is one way to start to heal oneself.
