I suffer from anxiety attacks …….. but noooooooo way will I put crap in my body!!!!….I treat it by talking to friends, reading a good book, playing a fun computer game or watching a great film!!!!…… why make yourself more anxious with drugs??? thats what caused my attacks in the 1st place……..DONT TAKE ZOLOFT…….TAKE UP DANCING CLASSES INSTEAD!!!!! and you are right EAT HEALTHY!!!!!
@albagrl23 many people have anxiety and panic attacks severe enough where benzos are the only option. i refuse to take anti depressants because i feel they do not help at all and in fact theyre not even proven to work. xanax and benzos may be addicting and have harsh withdrawl but i think its a small price to pay if your anxiety is reached a point where its unmanagable with joke meds like SSRI's.
@dabrowmj I actually still struggle with excercising daily and eating healthy lol but when I do put my mind to it & stick with it… I notice a HUGE change ALL around. I feel better, less anxious, sleep better and feel almost normal! The BIGGEST contributors to anxiety, food wise is fast food, chocolates and caffeine… Even if you can stay away from foods like that then you should notice a difference! Good Luck
Xanax helps ALOT with anxiety and panic, Klonopin is very helpfull also. But Xanax really SAVES you from panic attacks! I have alot of anxiety and panic disorder! Xanax is a life SAVER
@albagrl23 It actually got really bad for about 5 months, but i am finally doing well. It is can be pretty tough though at times, but I am at the point now were I can talk myself out of having one. Thanks for asking, and taking the time to see if I was doing well, I really appreciate it =)
@hugatag WOW how similar we are lol! I still get vivid nightmares and dreams right before I wake up to lol! Thank you for your kind words, best of luck!
@carpedieming01 Thank you for your kind words, appreciate it! When I cold turkeyed Zoloft all 3 times now… I had more panic attacks, was irritable & moody, my appetite was all over the place, my sleep was way off and I had these brain zaps, I think there called.. oh yea, tremors and shakes too. But I don't want to scare you b/c everyone is different and I cold turkeyed all 3 times for a year and came off 150 mg. Meaning I didn't feel this symptoms ti the 9th month or so.. Good Luck!
@msheatheroo That was my biggest fear too, dying in a public place and that's why I always liked being close to home but I promise you it gets easier! In one summer I called an ambulance 3 or 4 times so don't think you're the only one! Best of Luck & thanks for your kind words
@sjtrout1 Thank you so much, you are very sweet! It is getting easier but I still have a HUGE problem with travelling.. but I'm working on it. Very inspirational words, thanks again!
@FadedHolySoldier Good point! It's become another bad habit depending on these medications but for now.. it's whats working. But I definitely will look into herbal remedies! Thanks for the great tip
