Dr Pixie looked at panic attacks, putting herself in the patient's chair to dispel the embarrassment that surround the attacks that affect 1 in 10 of us. Dr Pixie put herself forward for an experiment in the name of research that would see a panic attack induced upon her. This new series explores the conditions and ailments that leave many of us a little red-faced and aims to de-stigmatise common complaints. Three doctors — Dawn Harper, Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna — will be throwing open the doors of the clinic in a bid to tackle each condition head on, while attempting to take away the sting of shame.
