9 Easy Steps to Simulate the Sensation of Panic

Grover shows you 9 ways to feel like you're having a panic attack! This was made for my cousin's psychology class! Please note: This is not meant to make fun of people with panic disorder. Panic attacks are NOT funny.

Anyone try this cure for Panic Attacks? Anyone try the Panic Away System – ** badanxiety . info

tiltsinatra @ 3:51 am #

i really experience panic disorder, and if it was humanly possible to do all 9 steps at once for 2-4 hours straight then it would be the tip of the iceberg to how a real attack feels. what about the 10th step? the impending fear of death and dying? dont get me wrong, the video was funny as hell, but it sux to ACTUALLY experience this naturally. teese attacks are why i am now suffering from agoraphobia.

anushca100 @ 4:06 am #

Hehe… funny.
You forgot to mention that these 9 methods should be done simultaneously to mimic a real panic attack.

MrXSpeaks @ 4:52 am #

ha ha ha this is hillarious ! :)

Can you spin while standing up opposed to spinning in a chair?

formless777 @ 5:11 am #

I find that fascinating. I certainly didn't experience anything like it. I think I will try that experiment again.

Robotocracy @ 5:18 am #

Yes. It's nothing like a hallucination or something really bizarre like in the video. Maybe I'm just weird, but sometimes after staring at myself in the mirror, even for brief periods of time, I become almost unfamiliar with my own face. It's like I don't recognize myself or the concept of my person or something.

formless777 @ 5:37 am #

Does anybody seriously get a sense of unreality from staring at themselves in a mirror for 2 minutes ? I am genuinely curious. I didn't get any effect after 8 minutes. Gave up.

MooWithMetubes @ 6:11 am #

Very accurate haha

Xoebear @ 6:14 am #

Umm can you do the spinning thing without a chair? And do you have to do this all within a short amount of time? About how long would you say?

SignoreBoy @ 6:42 am #

Honestly, I wonder what Frank Oz would think if he ever saw your Grover films – I cried with laughter through every scene! XD XD XD

BillyPilgrim114 @ 7:01 am #

I get extra credit in my psych class for writing these steps down. Whoo.

It was playing Dance of the Swans until the distortions were seen. The music that happened when his face got all weird looking was just a couple generic suspense accents that I found in iMovie!

iamhomelessman @ 9:24 am #

What was that music during the mirror part?

forgettable @ 9:31 am #
