What then can we do to reduce the symptoms of stress or overcoming panic attacks?  Below are some simple suggestions on how to go about it.
•    Deep breathing – Practice deep breathing at least for several minutes in a day.  This method will require you to take a deep breath and hold this for about five to seven seconds.  Then afterwards slowly exhale.  You can immediately feel a sense of relief once you do this.  This will help you react to a stressful situation in a more relaxed way.
•    Meditation – When you are caught in a very stressful and full of anxiety situation just go to a quiet place and stay there for awhile.  Cast off temporarily the things or situations that cause you stress and instead try to concentrate on things that makes you happy.  Happy thoughts can block out the negative ones in a very powerful manner.  Once you have regained the full function of your brain then go back to deal with the situation rationally.
•    Muscle relaxation – Try making some muscles in your body tense.  Like your arms, legs, shoulders, neck among others.  Then count to ten and now try to release the tension and feel the muscle group relax.  This practice will teach you what to do in case you are in a very stressful situation but you cannot go away.  By being relaxed you can now think properly and more logically than when you are having panic attacks.
