I have had this since 16. I went to Long Island Jewish Phobia clinic and was thrown out as I knew I was on Tofrinil within 3 days—-this is when I was 25, I am now 62. I have found that this is genetic and that is not a BRAIN problem but a misfiring HEART ENZYME problem. This is why you wake up with the shakes and do not know why. They have not found out how to isolate this enzyme YET. This is all it is, it is not in the brain, in fact it is not. IT IS IN THE HEART!!!!!

Hey, I used to have panic disorder and agoraphobia too, but I'm a lot better now. I still have panic attacks but they're milder and less often, and I now have my life back. A year a go I never thought I would be able to live life normally again.
Hi,
I'm suffering from the same. I'm a college student and need to go to school every day 'cause If I don't do that I'm gonna be fired. It's very hard to face this. 2 days ago I went into the classroom and I felt I couldn't stay there. I felt like everything is so small, there were people around me, I was lucky that my teacher was late so I could escape. I'm afraid of the next panic attacks, the visible trembling etc. . You also need to be strong and you ARE GONNA be strong Good Luck.
