i am very stressed and sometimes i'm randomly overcome with feelings of anxiety and very uncomfortable feelings like i'm restless and i cry but i don't know why. do you think this could be some sort of minor panic attack, depression, or anxiety?

mypanicaway @ 9:50 pm #

I have suffered with panic attacks for 15 years and all the counseling, medication and books I have purchased within the 15 years just masked the fear, never eliminated it for good. The only program that has given me long term success was Barry Joe McDonaghs Panic Away program. Thank you so much Barry for changing my life. My 15 year battle with panic attacks is now a thing of the past. Click on my channel mypanicaway for details.

Yes, panic attacks sure can cause all kinds of weird symptoms. That's great that the meds have helped you. It seems to be hit and miss with medication.

pinkbear57 @ 12:28 am #

OMG !!!! Your attacks and symptoms are soooo crazy and exactly like my situation. Its so hard to explain and you do not know what is wrong. I get tingly and then YES I did go to the hospital the first time thinking I was dying, but at 20 you dont think of dying…so I had catscans and everything done and finally after about 10 doctors later…I found the perfect one and he told me I had anxiety disorder. I have been on Lexapro and Cymbalta and both have worked very well…this was great, thank u

theverb83 @ 12:35 am #

Hey man, these videos really helped me. I started having anxiety when I was 6, but it didn't really affect me. But as I got older it kept on getting worse and worse. The the I hate the most about it is the un real feeling. When I feel like I'm not real, it's just horrible. I have bad agoraphobia.

StopPanicAnxiety @ 12:55 am #

dont let panic attack control you, let yourself control the panic attack.

Catowner66 @ 1:02 am #

YOu are not alone. I am on 4 medications for chronic anxiety and panic. I have my good days but sometimes I'll have them daily for a week or two and it can be a living hell. Shaky hands, pacing, crying, rocking & panting. I feel like I have it the worst. I've never met anyone who had ever had it as bad as I have and probably never will. You can talk to me anytime. Mine started 9 years ago.

bwelmhouse1 @ 1:46 am #

Thanks for sharing your story! Your welcome to post anytime you'd like. Feel free to talk to me anytime also. I'm always here for my anxiety buddies. :)

bwelmhouse1 @ 2:04 am #

Well, being at work didn't really help my anxiety any. In fact, workplace became and "anxiety zone" for me. However, being busy at home is a tremendous help. I have no trouble staying busy though! I'm always working on projects.

bwelmhouse1 @ 2:45 am #

Yes, the first panic attack disrupts the normal flow of things until we get a handle on it, which is the recovery we're all working on.

bwelmhouse1 @ 3:14 am #

No, the internet can scare you further. I find that out every time my hypochondria creeps up on me. So finally I have to "put the book down" so to speak, eventually. Then my fear wanes.

bwelmhouse1 @ 4:06 am #

Yeah, the age thing kinda got to me too when I turned 30. I kept feeling kinda down that my twenties were now permanently gone. But I try to look forward. It doesn't bother me so much now.

bwelmhouse1 @ 4:39 am #

Hello! Yes, actually that was one of my purposes for my videos. To let people know they're certainly not alone. With some of the odd symptoms and quirks of my anxiety, I thought nobody could relate. Once I started doing these videos, people began to share with me symptoms and quirks just like mine! I was at least relieved to know that people did experience those things and could relate. Which meant my therapist had probably heard it all before.

atreyu179 @ 4:54 am #

I just personally get frustrated when I read a lot of personal details on panic attacks and people leave out crucial information that may help others relate to them. On that note, I'll end my lonnng rant! If anyone else feels the need to talk to me, I'll do my best to talk with you about it. Thanks, for the billionth time, bwelmhouse1 for contributing your videos! Best wishes and stay positive! :)

atreyu179 @ 5:08 am #

…which makes me wonder. The day after your first attack, when you went to work. Perhaps you being at work and keeping your mind distracted helped calm your subconscious mind? I feel that way at work too. The less I'm at home doing nothing, the better I tend to feel. Before I go, I will also disclose some more info about myself. I'm 5'11" and around 250 lbs (yes, I'm overweight. Which doesn't help my subconscious in thinking that what I'm experiencing is a heart attack).

I wanted to sincerely apologize for spamming your comment board, but since you were, again, so thoroughly candid in your video, I wanted to share my story with you and others who take the time to read all this. Thank you so much for sharing. I may come back to more of your videos in the future for support if I need it. You're absolutely right in one of the responses you put up in the comment board. The more you take your mind off of the anxiety, the better off you'll be.
