Acai has been consumed by humans for over 200 years. The acai berry (pronounced ah-SAH-ee) is said to offer a great nutritional health support. You can find acai in many forms: dried berries, freeze dried powder, or in many acai drinks, such as Triunity International's Acai-Plus. Acai Plus also contains mangosteen, goji berry and many other nutritional ingredients. It's an acai plus juice blend.

Scientific analysis of acai pulp show that acai has high amounts of healthy fats, like oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid. It also contains significant amounts of vitamins and minerals. Acai berries are black-purple and are about 1 inch in diameter. They have slightly less pulp than a grape (and are about the same size). Acai is a palm tree that's native to South America. Acai palm is one of the most important plants in the Amazon.
